Semi-cylindrical bleeding tank

 

Designed to keep fish that have been cut to the gills in refrigerated seawater (or just cold seawater) so that they can bleed.

This bleeding process is prior to the process of heading and filleting.

Description

Designed to keep fish that have been cut to the gills in refrigerated seawater (or just cold seawater) so that they can bleed.

This bleeding process is prior to the process of heading and filleting.

After remaining the appropriate time for bleeding inside the tank, the fish is unloaded by a rotating shovel driven by a hydraulic motor.

Technical information

Tank

  • The structure and dimensions of the tank are designed according to the needs of each process.
  • The tank has a semi-circular U-shaped section.
  • For cleaning and drainage, it is equipped with guillotine discharge gates located at the base of the tank.
  • The gates are operated by a pneumatic cylinder. Normally opened by hand.
  • It has a water inlet and overflow pipes, through which process impurities are eliminated.
  • Structure built in AISI-316 with sheet and profiles in AISI-316 stainless steel.

 

 Rotating  blade for extracting fish

  • The rotating blade that unloads the fish, rotates on an axle located at the top of the tank.
  • This shovel adjusts to the sides and base of the tank and removes the fish without damaging it, in a controlled and progressive way.
  • Shaft and shovel built-in AISI-316 with sheet and profiles in AISI-316 stainless steel.
  • The shaft rotates driven by a hydraulic motor reducer.

 

Dimensions:

  • Built to measure and according to the needs of the project.
  • Indicative dimensions (LxWxH): 1800 x 1200 x 1600 mm.
